Moving Memories

Public Intervention+Workshop

This workshop is aimed at actors, dancers and the general public with interest in the artistic body in movement. It aims the preparing of the body and the harvesting of creative material related to the realm of memories.

Edegar Starke's movement research brings together different paths he's been walking throughout his artistic life, being some of his main influences Butoh, Physical Theatre and Contemporary dance.

Through tasks and exercises assembled by him on his current work on ``memories``, the participants of this workshop will have the opportunity to engage in and research movements that are organic to the particularities of their bodies, working in the frame of ``Preparing, Exercising and Organizing.``

Moving memories is a laboratory to explore how memories move you and how can you transform and organize that into artistic material. Wear comfortable clothes, bring one memory you would like to work with and something to write notes in.
