Szu-Wei Chen is a filmmaker from Taiwan, now based in New York City as he pursues his MFA in film from Columbia University. His short film, Jay (2019), was awarded the Alternative Spirit Award Short First Prize, and the Youth Jury Award Best LGBTQ Film Grand Prize at the 2019 Rhode Island International Film Festival, and screened at the BFI Flare: London LGBTQ+ Film Festival in 2020.
