Petros Konnaris (b. Cyprus, 1988) is working between the fields of live art, participatory art, and dance. His performances are a meeting between people to explore care and gentleness, coming together, nakedness, intimacy, and playfulness. Petros is interested in exploring these concepts mainly in the form of everyday situations, durational happenings, 1-1 performances, and public interventions. His methodology includes the use of conversation and text, a mixture of casualness with extraordinary situations, performance/event scores, queer and feminist discourse and the body as an experiential gateway. He believes care and gentleness serve as a crucial element for communication, exploration, and interaction.
