Lazare Lazarus lives and works in Marseilles, France. Landscape architect, and sex worker for 6 years, he is currently involved in his collective “mémoire des sexualités,” a queer community archive project based in Marseilles. Both drawer and film director, Lazare deployes fantasies around pornographic, landscape and botanic imaginary. He startes to work on this subject with the practice of cruising in natural parks of Marseilles. These territories of outdoor cruising represent for him places of emancipation to heterosexuals norms and capitalism, at a time when spaces for queer sex are increasingly threatened and privatized by the gentrification of cities.
