Fran Ansalas is an Argentinian multidisciplinary artist. He develops his production at the intersection of multiple médiums: drawing, publications, and fashion. His passion for ceramics has led him to develop his own pottery line under the name Apache Ceramicas, bringing together research, design, social activism. Ansalas’ research and travels have led him to collaborate with multiple potters in Latin America, predominantly Mexico and Guatemala. One of his projects, A candle in the night, is featured in The Brooklyn Art Library, Brooklyn, NYC. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication (Universidad Nacional de Rosario) and is currently writing his thesis for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Universidad Nacional de Rosario). He currently lives and works in Rosario, Argentina.
