Independent animator and photographer, Gudiño studied animation at the University of Audiovisual Media (CAAV) in Guadalajara. Her work is based on the experimentation of mixed techniques of animation such as stop-motion, cut outs and rotoscopy. The use of materials such as paper, paint and plasticine provide a crafty aesthetic to her work.
Her graduation short film, To Let the Body Grow, has been selected in the most important film festivals of Mexico. During the CutOutFest X (Qro), she received the award for Best Mexican Student Short Film and a Special Mention of Jury during the Animasivo film festival. This short film has also been selected in international festivals in countries like Hungary, Spain, Argentina, Colombia and South Korea.
